Our Church is in the Carolina\u2019s Mission Region, which is part of the North American Lutheran Church. The NALC has four core values: Christ Centered, Mission Driven, Traditionally Grounded and Congregationally Focused.<\/p>\n<p>Christ United echo\u2019s these core values. It is a Church family committed to the authority of the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God. In keeping with the Lutheran Confessions, we believe all doctrines should and must be judged by the teaching of Holy Scripture.<\/p>\n<p>Christ United is grounded in the unique Gospel of Jesus Christ and rooted in the 2,000 plus year tradition of our Catholic Christian faith. Yet it is also a renewed Lutheran community, moving forward in faith and focused on living out Christ\u2019s Great Commission to go and make disciples in Granite Falls, North Carolina, Caldwell County, our sorrounding communities,\u00a0 the United States of America and around the Globe.<\/p>\n<p>We teach and believe that God bestows on every person specific gifts and talents, to be used for His purpose within the congregation.
